Louis Altman (Macbeth) is thrilled to make his debut for the North Dakota Shakespeare Festival! Andrew Bates (Scenic Designer) is a Denver Colorado based scenic designer, actor, magician, and choreographer. He is thrilled to return to North Dakota Shakespeare Festival after designing As You Like It last summer. Andrew's set design work has been seen in Performance Now Theater company's productions of White Christmas, The Music Man, Little Women, The Drowsy Chaperone (2022 Henry Award Nominee - Outstanding Scenic Design), My Way, and Ring of Fire. To Amy, Victor, and Etta; I love you enormously. To all others, thank you for supporting live arts, and enjoy the show.

Anthony Quinn Berry (Macduff/Ensemble) is a Houston-based actor excited to be returning to North Dakota Shakespeare Festival! Last time he was with NDSF in 2022, he played Duke and Dr. Pinch as well as the Antipholus of Syracuse Understudy. He’s also excited to be revisiting Macbeth, having played Ross the first time. For the past year, he’s been on the educational touring circuit working with The Rev, The National Theatre for Children, and Bright Star Touring Theatre. When he’s not acting, he loves writing stories and poems, nature walks, baking, and watching horror movies.

Stephanie Faatz Murry (Founder/Producing Artistic Director & Porter) is currently a Denver-based theatre artist, teaching, directing and performing in the Denver/Boulder area. She holds a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from SUNY Fredonia, an M.F.A. in Acting from the University of Arkansas and a certificate in Classical Acting from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). She is a former UND Faculty Member and thrilled to share her love of classical theatre with the ND/MN community for a 9th season! Veronica Lee Folkedahl (Seyton/Ensemble) is beyond thrilled to take a trip to Scotland with you all! Previous NDSF appearances have included Phebe/Duke/Oliver (As You Like It), Lady Abbess/Etc.(Comedy of Errors), Peaseblossom/Hippolyta (Midsummer), Horatio/Gertrude (Hamlet), Ursula (Much Ado about Nothing), and Sampson/Apothecary (Romeo & Juliet). She is especially excited to connect with so many familiar faces on stage, and is so thankful to Curt and Stephanie for this opportunity to work alongside such a wonderful group of people. For our Grand Forks locals, you might have seen Veronica recently as Katherine (Taming of the Shrew: Unrehearsed), Pirelli (Sweeney Todd), or as Ado Annie (Oklahoma!). Veronica would like to extend a special thank you to Stephanie - the greatest friend, cheerleader, supporter, and inspiration you could ever hope for in your corner, without whom none of this would be possible.

Shelby Hazel (Asst. Costume Designer) holds a Bachelor's Degrees in Entrepreneurship and Theatre Arts from the University of North Dakota. She brings a versatile skill set to the costume shop, having worked in positions from designer and shop manager to stitcher and wardrobe supervisor. Her favorite credits include; Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka (MSU Summer Theatre), Nell Gwynn (Texas Shakespeare Festival), The Spitfire Grill, and Sweeney Todd (UND Theatre). In her time outside of the costume shop, she is the Marketing Manager for a small nonprofit called FARRMS. Shelby is excited to join the North Dakota Shakespeare Festival this summer!

Baxter Konstans (Malcolm/Duncan/Ensemble) is super excited to be working with North Dakota Shakespeare for the first time! He is a Chicago-based actor who graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University in 2024. Some professional credits include: Ichabod Crane (The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Great Works Theatre), Romeo (Romeo and Juliet, Great Works Theatre), Sebastian (Twelfth Night, Tennessee Shakespeare Co.), Tybalt (Romeo and Juliet, TSC), Ross (Macbeth, TSC), and Dr. Pinch (Comedy of Errors, TSC). David Ian Lee (Director) has directed plays, operas, films, and campaign videos across the country. As a playwright, his works include mass, Liberty & Joe DiMaggio, Sleeper, and The Curing Room, which has seen multiple international productions and translations into French, Greek, and Afrikaans. As an actor, he has performed internationally and with theatres including Utah Shakespeare, Sedona Shakespeare, New York Classical Theatre, The Actors Theatre of Louisville, and the Arizona, Milwaukee, and Nashville Repertory theatres.
David is a founding Producing Artistic Director of Pipeline-Collective, a company that celebrates the craft of the actor, dynamic storytelling, and theatrical magic on a shoestring budget. David currently serves as the Director of the Theatre Conservatory at Montverde Academy, where for the 25/26 season he directed four of the Conservatory’s eight mainstage productions, including Jekyll & Hyde, Airness, and an all-male adaptation of The Taming of the Shrew. In 2025, he directed multiple productions of Fever Entertainment’s The Jury Experience. He is thrilled to return to North Dakota Shakespeare, having directed The Tempest in 2023.
David received his BFA in Acting and Directing from the University of Arizona and his MFA in Directing from Illinois State University. He is a proud graduate of New York's William Esper Studio, a former Labbie with Directors Lab North and Directors Lab West, and cohort of the La Mama International Virtual Directors’ Symposium. Otto Lieder (Stage Manager/Swing) is thrilled to return to North Dakota Shakespeare for its 10th season, joining the company as Stage Manager and Swing for Macbeth. They are a Grand Forks based actor and technician having graduated from the University of North Dakota with a double major in Musical Theatre Performance and Theatre Arts: Tech and Design in 2023. Some recent work they have done in Grand Forks includes Watson and co-lighting and sound design in Moriarty, Cinderella's Father and Lighting design in Into the Woods both at the Firehall, Stage Manager and sound designer for A Year with Frog and Toad at the Empire, Sound and Light Design and technical coordination for Fame at Frostfire along with many others. They also are a local school teacher at Schroeder Middle School. When they aren't working on and off the stage they enjoy building Lego sets, reading and playing Dungeons and Dragons!

Logan Lopez (Ross/Ensemble) is an actor with a strong background in both acting and musical theatre, bringing a mix of technical training and genuine curiosity to every role. While he has recently been focused on film and on-camera work, he is excited to be returning to live theatre with Macbeth and rediscovering the energy of performing on stage. Logan has a solid history with Shakespeare, having played roles like Demetrius in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, alongside a range of other classical and contemporary characters, including Christopher in The Sound Inside. With experience that spans both Shakespearean and non-Shakespearean work, he enjoys diving into complex characters and finding what makes them feel real and human.

Erin O'Neil (Musician/Ensemble) was raised on the prairie plains outside of East Grand Forks, MN. She learned to clog dance at age three and to fiddle at age five. Her first acting role was at the annual East Grand Forks Heritage Christmas Festival at age four. At age eleven, Erin composed her first fiddle tune and began playing for community dance events and performing with her parents as a member of The O’Neil Family Band. Throughout her life, Erin has continued to work regionally as a performing musician, with her most serendipitous gig being at Erin's Pub in St. John's, Newfoundland. Two of her original compositions were featured in North Dakota Shakespeare Festival's 2021 production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, she was a musician/actor for the 2025 production of As You Like It, and is now back for Season 10!

Izzy Spiess (Lady Macbeth/Ensemble) is an actor, playwright and dancer from Minneapolis, MN. They just graduated with their BFA in Acting from the University of Minnesota, and are excited to take on the real world! Some of their favorite past roles have been Jude Olsen in SPAMTOWN, USA at the Children’s Theatre Company, and Silvius in As You Like It at the U of M. They are so excited to return to Macbeth, after playing Lady M in London while studying abroad with the Royal Shakespeare Company. Emily Taylor (Costume Designer) currently resides in Minot, North Dakota on the land her family homesteaded in 1890. She graduated from UND’s M.A. Theatre Program in 2017, the same year that North Dakota Shakespeare got its start. She worked as the Costume Shop Manager that year as well as playing Lady Montague and designed costumes for their 2025 production of As You Like It! She has kept busy costuming for Minot Summer Theatre, The Shakespeare Project (in Anniston, Alabama), and working on specialty projects for the Discovery Center and Norsk Hostfest.

Christopher Zou (Banquo/Ensemble) is so excited to return to NDSF for his third season! He is an actor and filmmaker based in/from Queens, NY. At NDSF: 2025's As You Like It (Orlando), 2024's Merchant of Venice (Prince of Morocco). Other theater credits include InKind Collective/Much Ado About Nothing (Dogberry/Friar Francis), Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey/Much Abo About Nothing (Conrade, Friar Francis u/s), and University of Houston/Twelfth Night (Orsino).
